Roads leading into the background are a natural, but you’ve added the angular ridge on the right. Nice touch! But, I do have one question: why haven’t I been to Death Valley yet? Your pic makes me want to go. 🙂

a place i have yet to visit. reminds me of a drive through the Painted Desert a number of years ago. the road just went on and on and on…. a great composition. thanks for sharing.
