On The Way

The views at Death Valley National Park are vast. It is the largest park in the lower 48 states. The drive to each sight is like travelling through remote areas of the park. This is one such picture on our way to Badwater Basin in Death Valley.

Forces of Nature

When we visited Yellowstone National Park last summer I was amazed by the geothermal activity at this park. We saw many geysers and among them was this Jet Geyser erupting at the Lower Geyser Basin at Yellowstone.

The heat from the volcanic activity makes its presence known by heating ground water. This eruption is the result of super-heated water below-ground becoming trapped in channels leading to the surface and creating this thermal feature.

On our trip to Udaipur, India we stayed in a boutique hotel built in a heritage style. The place gives a royal feeling with the beautiful art and the decor. This was a wonderful hand-painted wall along the indoor swimming pool area. Sharing here for Weekly Photo Challenge.
